Meet The Chef
My name is Jacqueline Williams, the owner of Abundant Catering. I'm an Executive Chef with over 30+ years of experience in preparing a wide variety of cuisine offerings. I was one of the first African American women to graduate from the Allegheny Community College Chef Apprentice Program.
I have experience in cooking in a wide array of styles, and I truly enjoy preparing my clients' wonderful fine dining entrées as well as French nouvelle–influenced classics.
I began my career in the food preparation industry as a corporate trainer for Houlihan's. I moved to the Twin Cities in 1990 and became the Executive Chef at Capers Restaurant in Edina, MN. I have also been the Executive Chef at Café Solo and Dayton's Boundary Waters Restaurant, and worked in Marriott's International Education Division at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
In 1997 I became the Executive Chef at Eat Your Heart Out Catering – the Twin Cities' premier caterer to national and international entertainers. You name the star – I've probably cooked for them. From U2 and KISS to Mary J. Blige and the Lilith Fair, I've prepared meals for virtually every major entertainer that has visited the Twin Cities. I have also served as a corporate trainer opening restaurants in Station Square, Pittsburgh, and King of Prussia, Philadelphia.
